Herbed Garlic Butter

For the second day of Blogging Marathon Week 2 I tried out this wonderful spiced butter as a spread for my toasts. If I have to choose between the pumpkin spread and this herbed butter, I would go for this yummy butter. With a slight hint of garlic and fresh coriander this butter tasted delicious on the golden bread toasts. This will go very well with a cup of coffee for your breakfast or as a tea time snack. I used the powdered garlic flavoured with parsley with chopped coriander. I also added some salt. If you want a spicy butter, you can add some chopped green chillies or red chilly flakes. There is no particular recipe for this butter and you can whip it up in seconds. Prepare your bread and when it is toasting the oven, you can prepare the butter so that it goes directly on the hot bread slice.

Ingredients:
Unsalted Butter- 1/2cup ( at room temperature)
Salt- to taste
Garlic powder flavoured with parsley- 1/4tsp
Chopped Coriander Leaves-2tbs

Procedure:
1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients.
2. Mix well with a spoon.
3. Preheat oven to 200C.
4. Apply butter on both sides of bread slice.
5. Arrange on the tray.
6. Bake for 2minutes on either sides.
7. Apply the butter on the slice and serve it hot.

The butter melts leaving the coriander leaves visible on the toast.
