Cardamom Lassi

Lassi is an yogurt/ curd based drink popular in North India. This is a perfect cooler for this scorching heat. This sweetened curd + milk mixture is flavoured with cardamom powder and tastes great. Lassi is usually served with lunch. I prepared this as part of Punjabi thali(click for the link) I prepared earlier. The preparation is very simple. The curd we use for lassi must be set using whole fat milk to make it delicious.



Ingredients:
Cool Curd(preferably homemade)-1cup
Cool Full Fat Milk-1/2cup
Sugar-3tbs
Cardamom Powder-1/4tsp


Procedure:
1. Chill curd and milk for 3-4hours.
2. In a blender add curd, milk, sugar and cardamom powder and whisk until frothy. Add sugar according to your taste.
3. Serve it immediately.
